Torchwood now adorning the front of the new Radio Times…
Maybe I should reconsider not being a subscriber…
Ah, but this is reassuring. I wondered if their decision to put out two episodes in the first week meant they think it’s rubbish and they’re trying to dump it. Putting on the front of RT rather suggests it might be alright.
So, there are two episodes or Torchwood airing in the first week? Are they on the same night?
They’re airing the first two episodes back to back at 9.00 on Sunday 22nd on digital only channel BBC 3. It will gain a larger audience when repeated on Wednesday on BBC 2 which is also broadcast on analogue.
This is the slot in which, IIRC, The X-Files originally went out in some 15 years ago, before being moved to BBC 1 when it became more popular (I wonder if this will happen with Torchwood?)
There’s also a Torchwood: Declassified programme which presumably will be much like Confidential, but which it seems will strangely be first aired at 2.40am in the small hours of Monday morning.
