  2. Undeniably, religious symbolism makes for some of the most powerful and universally shared storytelling elements we have.

    I think that shows from everything to the near-ubiquitous nature of the same themes recurring in the various religions over the ages all the way up to comic books and superheroes.

    They are always with us.
