Eugene and I discussed the two stories that have been rammed together in this cut & shut episode, one great and the other only good… I’m particularly sensitive to philosophical conundra if they are left unexplored…

I probably didn’t say often enough how much I enjoyed Gomez’s performance in the Missy strand (she’s even more brilliant than usual). Nor did I remember to mention Gold’s score, which sounds more than a little inspired by Jeff Beal’s House of Cards, and is wonderful.
