Macintosh & The Internet Much as I too love Safari RSS… 14th June 2005 Simon Wood …Macworld makes me feel like a wimp for not having NetNewsWire.
Reasons I like using my browser to read feeds: – Unread articles show up in the bookmarks, so you notice them while you’re browsing away… – I prefer a summary of each article as well as its headline before clicking on it, as provided by Safari’s feed page – The zippy in zippy out thing when you double click on the RSS icon in the address bar – Come to that, having an RSS icon display automatically when Safari finds a feed – The cool screensaver (okay this needn’t have anything to do with the browser but it happens it is) – Can you combine feeds in NetNewsWire? Got to admit the “bonjour” subscription sharing looks neat, though. Reply
