As part of one of my courses I will be assessed on a personal journal. “I recommend you set up a blog” said the lecturer “for your reflections (and rants)”. So I have. Please wander over (if you feel so inclined) and have a look.

Where does it all end?
Soon all the professors will be requiring blogs. My wife’s been doing a “journal” for her education Master’s classes, which, I can’t believe they didn’t recommend as being a blog. It’s just a matter of time before they figure that one out. They have her class populating a wiki.
Soon, there will be 4 or more blogs per semester, per student – hundreds of thousands of students, all typing away.
Forget about lack of fresh water, peak oil and climate change… we’re facing a bit shortage of epic proportions.
