“Victory of the Daleks” Worm

The general election leaders’ debate on Thursday saw not only the introduction of the “worm” indicating the approval (or otherwise) of a panel of voters to what’s being said but also the Guardian’s own variant which I could interact with.

I felt that there should have been something similar for Saturday’s Doctor Who.  Bear in mind that I had not the merest inkling that there was a new style of Dalek being introduced.

Bottom line: no-one, but NO-ONE, could find an orange Dalek scary.

  1. Ooh, I thought that was a nice pointer to something else new we British all ought to know about debate worms, but Google tells me it’s cricket.

  4. I figured it was something uniquely British to do with elections, like the Swingometer, but I thought I’d try to confuse things.

    I was feeling impish. 🙂
